Gary KatuinElder, Worship and Outreach
I thank God for His grace and mercy when He saved me at a young age while growing up in a Pastor’s family in Wisconsin Rapids. After high school, I attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, Minnesota from 1980 to 1984, where I preached in nursing homes, was a student pastor at a church in Minnesota for a summer, and graduated with Bible and Pastorology majors.
After Bible College, I attended Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis for three years where I developed a love for theology and led a nursing home ministry. In the years following seminary, I worked and lived in Kokomo, Indiana where I taught adult Sunday School and preached sermons and Bible studies from time to time at Victory Baptist Church.
After moving to Green Bay I met and married my wife, Susan, on September 15, 2001 in her home church in Morgantown, WV. What a blessing to have a wife who loves the Lord and His Word! We enjoy studying the Word together, landscaping, home projects, good music, walks in the evening, visits to Door County, grilling outdoors, as well as visits to West Virginia each year. Sue is a retired Nurse Practitioner, great cook, excellent decorator, my best friend, and a godly woman!
I also enjoy golf, bowling, chess, an occasional fishing trip and the Green Bay Packers! It is a joy to serve the Lord at Bethel where God is doing his work in believer’s hearts through excellent teaching and preaching of His Word!
