“Iron sharpens iron,  So one man sharpens another.”

Proverbs 27:7

The world’s definition of manhood is distorted, to say the least. The roles of men have been undermined and confused to the extent that many men are left wondering what it really means to be a good man. The great news is that the Bible is full of practical instruction on how to be a godly man whether you are married or single. Marriages are built up as men learn how to really love their wives. Children grow up learning about the Lord as men take on the responsibility of leading their families. Every facet of a man’s life – his family, his work, his friendships – is strengthened and solidified as he grows in the most important relationship, which is his relationship with Jesus Christ.

As hearts and minds are renewed by the Word, lives are bound to be impacted and changed. The guys of our church will become effective tools in the Lord’s hand only as we reflect His glory and His character. A man who can live out a life of faith and conviction will undoubtedly fulfill the calling that God has placed on his life.

Men’s Breakfast

Topics: Various

“Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13

Meet us on the third Saturday of each month* for some good chow and great Biblical instruction that you can sink your teeth into. We’ll dig into plates of manly food, as we dig into God’s Word to see what He has to teach us about our roles as men in today’s world.

We start with breakfast at 8:00 am, followed by a teaching from God’s Word.

*Days and times are subject to change. Please check our church calendar or call the office to confirm.

Objective:  That the men of Bethel will set the example of Christian leadership in this church, in their home and in the Green Bay area by:

  1. Growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ
  2. Enjoying Christian fellowship as a group of men, and setting an example for young men and boys
  3. Working alongside other men to encourage each other in our discipleship, service, and evangelism
  4. Increasing our gospel visibility in the community through our men taking the lead

Our purpose is to combine our service with sharing the gospel.  Our desire is that Bethel will be an active participant in bettering the community by serving others and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
